01 Origin

Three highland regions. Suppliers we can name.

Our current lots come from Cooperativa La Florida in Junín, Cooperativa Huadquiña in Cusco and Aromas del Valle in Cajamarca. Each lot is traceable to its district, its process and, where we have it, the farmer.

  • Junín · Chanchamayo, Perené
  • Cusco · Huadquiña
  • Cajamarca · San Ignacio & Jaén

02 Selection

Scores labeled honestly.

Our lots run from 81.25 to 86+ on the SCA scale. When a score is a supplier's pre-shipment estimate, we label it as one and cup the coffee ourselves before we recommend it.

Washed and natural process. Organic, Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance and SPP, depending on the lot.

03 Import

We carry the freight and the paperwork.

Ocean freight, customs clearance, port handling and delivery to your door all run through us. You deal with one supplier from the cupping table to your receiving dock.

04 Your roastery

Taste it before you commit.

We send a complimentary sample from the current crop, at no cost and no obligation. Cup it on your own bench, then we talk about lots that fit your roast program.

About Summit Coffee Imports LLC

A small importer, on purpose.

Summit is run by its founder, Art Nazaryan. We work with independent roasters and micro-roasteries, the buyers who care where a coffee grew and can taste the gap between two lots.

Being small means you talk to the person who chose the coffee. No account manager, no ticket queue.
